Congratulations to the Class of 2017
It's graduation time here, I am proud of all the young men and women as they begin the newest chapter in their lives, whether they go on to college or right into the work force, new experiences, adventures and responsibilities await them in their future, please take advantage of the knowledge and wisdom your parents and elders give you, we didn't survive this long by being stupid, too many times we think our parents "just don't understand" believe me, we have all gone through it too and said the same thing to our own parents. Please don't be in a big hurry to move away from home, if your parents give you a home stay as long as you can, but don't be a freeloader, help them around the house just have (hopefully) you have been doing all along. This last Summer before going away to college will be the best one of your lives, the last one where you will get to be a "kid" have fun and only have to worry about curfew, and please, do honor that curfew, it will really be the last time you will have one and parents do worry when you don't come home on time. And above all, remember God as He helps you forge ahead on your way to adulthood. And last of all, your Mother loves you more than you can ever understand, whether by birth or adoption, no one will EVER love you as much as she does. Remember to thank her.
